There’s something unsettling about being directly under a tower — like being a the door of some sort of portal to another world. You’re at the crux of two spatial perceptions: up and down vertically, and then the north east west south orientations of your horizon-tal plane. Standing under the crux makes me think of the perfect geometry of a mandala.
